He then participated representing Greece in the '<a href="http://www.manhunt.com.sg/">Manhunt International</a>' (Singapore), in which he won the '<em><span style="font-family:times new roman;"><strong>Community Services Award 2000</strong></span></em>'. A few months later he participated in the '<a href="http://www.bestmodeloftheworld.com/">Best Model of the World</a>' Beauty Contest winning the prestigious '<span style="font-family:times new roman;"><em><strong>Best Model Tourism 2000</strong></em></span>' title (Turkey, Instanbul). Finally he participated in the '<a href="http://www.pageantopolis.com/international/mr_intercontinental.htm">Mr Intercontinental</a>' Beauty Contest being placed in the '<span style="font-family:times new roman;"><em><strong>Top 10</strong></em></span>' and winning the '<span style="font-family:times new roman;"><em><strong>1st Runner-Up Mr. Elegance 2001</strong></em></span>' (Germany). <br /></div> <br /><div align="justify">Stathis became "<em>Mr Greece" </em>just a few days after he graduated with the highest mark among 105 graduates, from the Department of Sport Science and Physical Education (Athens University).
